Golf Course - Laem Chabang ( A - C ) - Winner - Lindsay Semple - 33 Points
After being in Thailand for 2 weeks before the tour started, we all thought Lindsay had been practising at the local driving range. Playing from the Blue tees all day, his 33 points was a great score at this difficult course.
Peter has a love affair with this course. Last March he won the day and backs it up with another good score to take the money. Maybe he just gets his same caddy every year, whatever his secret is Peter always scores well at Mountain Shadow. Im sure he would like to take this course back to Sydney with him.
Day 3 -
Golf Course - Crystal Bay - Winner - Henry Gross - 36 Points
After a couple of quiet days on the course,or a couple of big nights out, Henry steps up into the winners circle. We had a rain delay for 30 minutes but that didnt stop this regular sneaking in with 36 points to take the money on the day.
Day 4 -
Golf Course -Green Valley - Winner - Darren Slade - 43 Points
Every year Darren puts a big one out of the hat and this year was no different. He was leaving his run at the trophy a little late but Team Pom Pui has 43 points and rockets himself into the top 8 and into contention for the overall winners trophy.
Day 5 -
Golf Course - Burapha ( West Course ) - Winner - Tom Sisul - 45 Points
Our Alaskian friend finds golf in Thailand distinctly different from home. He tells us of 23 hours of sunlight and golfing in freezing conditions. So having a caddy and being able to feel your fingers, he blasts everybody off the course with a sensational round of 45 points. We will make sure we cut his handicap for next years tournament.
